The doctors and staff at Associates in Podiatry are here to provide the best foot and ankle care to meet our patients’ needs.

The right treatment can take different forms for different patients and can depend greatly upon the source of the problem. That means we provide a full array of services to help all our patients maintain healthy feet, find comfort, and improve quality of life.

We have outlined a few of our specialized treatments below, but they are not indicative of our full services. Please also visit our Advanced Treatments page to learn more about our special laser therapies and additional cutting-edge treatments in the future.

Custom Orthotic Devices

Custom orthotics are specially prescribed to each patient to provide very specific amounts of support, cushioning and balance where needed. This can help relieve chronic pain conditions, as well as pain from heel pain and deformities such as bunions and hammertoes, by removing excess force from troubled areas.

In addition to prescribing specialized custom orthotic devices to our patients, we also conduct adjustments, refurbishing, and replacement to ensure the devices are performing their duties optimally.

Sports Medicine

Pro athletes, those who are in training to become one, and those who like to pick up a weekend game for fun are all susceptible to sports injuries—especially in the feet and ankles. Good sports medicine services not only treat problems such as ankle sprains, shin splints, and torn ligaments with effective methods, but also employ rehabilitative and preventative measures to ensure a patient can get back to playing with as few risks of another injury.

DIABETIC FOOT CARE

If you live with diabetes, you likely already know there is plenty to keep track of. Even if your feet are not currently experiencing any problems, it is vital to take proper care of them. This will reduce your risks of serious complications and limit the negative effects of diabetes on your feet as the disease progresses.

While Associates in Podiatry provides direct care when a problem arises, we also offer routine diabetic foot care services with a focus on preventative maintenance. Regular checkups, a diabetic foot care plan, and diabetic shoes can all be part of protecting your feet far into the future.

Surgery

Conservative treatments are turned to whenever possible to provide the foot and ankle treatment a patient needs. However, there may be times when conservative methods have failed, or it is clear that they will not be effective in a certain case.

In these situations, surgery becomes an option for bringing pain relief or restoring/maintaining the mobility of a patient. Surgeries may range from relatively minor ingrown toenail removal to much more complex reconstructive surgery for a bunion or fracture.

Every surgery is considered on a patient-by-patient basis, and we will discuss all options fully with each patient to ensure they have all the information they need to make a confident decision moving forward. We also provide advice and care for each patient, before, during, and after the procedure.
