Leaving Behind Traditional Plantar Wart Treatments
Having plantar warts is unpleasant. For a long time, however, treating them could be just as unpleasant – if not worse!
Traditional methods of plantar wart treatment, such as surgical scooping, freezing, or burning, can be quite painful and require aftercare. Nobody has ever looked forward to these old methods of treatment – especially not children.
But those ways are now behind us! We would love to introduce you to Swift Therapy, a new technology for treating plantar warts that removes virtually all of the discomfort and frustration.
How Swift Therapy Works
Plantar warts have been so difficult to treat in the past because the virus that causes them resides high enough in the upper layers of skin that the immune system often fails to detect and deal with the issue. That is why we used to have to attack the wart from the outside.
Instead, Swift Therapy organizes an inside attack of the virus by using low doses of microwave energy to stimulate an immune response, bringing the fight right to the virus with no cutting and no damage to healthy skin.
A typical course of treatment will involve 3-4 sessions spaced about 4 weeks apart. Each session lasts 5-10 minutes.
We will apply doses of microwave energy to the warts in 2-3 second bursts. You may feel a brief pinch at this time, but it fades immediately after each dose ends.
When you are finished, there is no aftercare and no bandaging. You can continue with your day without any pain or limping!
A Cure That’s Better Than the Disease!
The longer you wait to address plantar warts, the more opportunity there is for warts to spread farther across your feet, and even to other parts of your body (or other people). But with Swift, you not only can find an effective and easier road to relief, but train your immune system to be much more likely to prevent warts in the future.
If you have questions about Swift or plantar wart treatment in general, please don’t hesitate to contact us using the form above. We will be happy to help you.
